Camelot Parkside Hotel

LOCATION: Tulsa, Oklahoma

PROJECT TYPE: Asbestos Abatement and Structural Demolition

DURATION: 45 days

Historic Spotlight — “Camelot Inn”

Built in 1965 by architect Bob Piland, the Camelot Inn was a medieval-themed hotel boasting 330 rooms, a moat, and a replica of Excalibur. Vacant after 1996, the site was later acquired by QuikTrip—another Tulsa icon founded nearby in 1958. The redevelopment honors both Tulsa traditions while modernizing the corridor.

Project overview

The demolition of the Camelot required meticulous planning and sequencing to safely remove a midcentury Tulsa landmark while minimizing disruption to surrounding businesses and high-traffic corridors. Our team managed all environmental compliance, permitting, and safety oversight throughout the 45-day schedule, ensuring a controlled, efficient, and fully compliant operation.

The multistory hotel was abated, dismantled, and cleared to prepare the site for future redevelopment led by QuikTrip.
